Invoking images of the warm, aquamarine waters of the Mediterranean, this swimming pool transports those who cross the home’s boundaries to an exotic getaway. Designed by Castley McCrimmon Architects and expertly constructed by Neptune Pools, this swimming pool is the epitome of elegance and luxury.

Sleek and sophisticated, the pool is positioned against the property’s perimeter, allowing for the space to be effectively utilised. The objective given to Neptune Pools was clear: family fun was paramount – an understandable requirement for a young family. However, given the homeowners’ fitness-related careers, ensuring there was enough room to exercise was also important. Utilising the property’s boundary as a guideline, the 14.9m x 2.2m swimming pool allows ample room for an alfresco area but can still be used as a lane pool.

Striving to keep the family at the forefront of each consideration made, the pool’s L-shape allows for a beach entry, so the little ones can remain safe and sound while enjoying the water and sunshine.

Having recently renovated the house, the natural progression was to renovate the alfresco areas to complement the home’s chic, modern aesthetic. Clean, crisp materials enhance the beautiful home and its pristine landscaping to create a polished overall look.

Cotto tiles in ‘Gloss White’ are utilised throughout the pool’s interior, matching the home’s white exterior and granting its waters a calming blue appearance. Further enhancing the existing colour schemes, granite pavers surround the pool, while the muted gray timber decking complements the perimeter walls and acts as a middle ground between the stark black steel doors and windows and the bright whites visible across the home.

The swimming pool was equipped with a variable speed pump and solar heating, so not only is it kind on your eyes but it is also kind on the planet. Supplementing the Sunlover Nanotek solar heating is an Insnrg Gas Gi420 heater, allowing the young family to enjoy the magnificent pool all year round.
