CRAFTED FOR CONNECTION

Set against the natural beauty of the Mornington Peninsula, this Rye project captures the essence of refined coastal living. With a strong focus on texture, structure and native planting, the outdoor space balances function and form. A striking swimming pool, seamlessly integrated into the landscape and framed by warm spotted gum decking, invites relaxation and entertainment. Bluestone paving grounds the space with timeless appeal, while limestone cladding adds a tactile contrast that echoes the coastal
surrounds.

A standout feature is the custom-built spotted gum arbour, providing sculptural impact and welcome shade. Nearby, a curved concrete bench encircles a central firepit – designed to encourage gathering across all seasons. The planting scheme favours hardy Australian natives for their resilience, low maintenance and connection to the local environment. A layered mix of grasses, shrubs and groundcovers offers year-round interest and supports local biodiversity.

Created in collaboration with landscape designer Seyffer Designs and pool builder LDR Pools, the result is a practical yet visually striking retreat that connects people with nature through thoughtful design and natural materials.
