Apex Pools & Spas was awarded Gold for the SPASA Pool of the Year.

Apex Pools & Spas:

“By raising the pool and spa we were able to make the most of the views of the surrounding bushland and the Yarra River. The spa sits higher than the pool to break up the distances between each level of the area.

“We chose to [incorporate] a mix of straight and curved lines to represent the [visual effect] of the house meeting the surrounding landscape. The chosen materials were an eclectic mix of modern, such as the curved bluestone, and old, like the reclaimed clinker bricks and timber posts.

“We chose to clad the interior of the pool in a black porcelain tile and the spa in a black glass mosaic tile. By using black tiles, [we were] able to pick up the reflection of the surrounding gum trees.”
