The project pictured is the epitome of relaxation and entertainment. seamlessly integrating three main entertaining areas of the property – the extensive outdoor kitchen area, sunken conversation pit and poolside decking – it is a breathtaking example of how years of experience and a flair for creativity can produce an outdoor area of exceptional results.
The homeowners approached Casamira Projects with a brief that encapsulated resort-style living. The property’s original design featured a small plunge pool with a large spa that created dead space within the outdoor area. With the assistance of the homeowners, company director elton Cummins created a 3d virtual walk-through that conceptualised a pool long enough to swim, but also incorporated plenty of spaces to relax. With minor amendments to the design throughout the construction phase, Casamira Projects has delivered the ‘wow’ factor to this once humble residence.
The pool has a myriad of stunning features that blend within the space. The modern infinity-edge wraps around two sides of the pool, while its external wall is clad with travertine that complements the white quartz paving utilised throughout the landscape. A wet lounge sits beneath a blade water feature wall, which is cladded with driftwood marble, enhancing the adjacent ironbark decking.
Along with cleverly designed aesthetics, the pool employs a Zodiac e3 variable speed pump and a Zodiac sand filter with diamond brite media, both of which are controlled by an Aqualink TRi command centre with internet capabilities. led lighting radiates the pool at night, which can also be switched on and off via Wi-Fi controls.
Truly completing the pool and spa design is clever, complementing landscape design. local species to the area have been incorporated as soft foliage, while Bangalow palms sourced from new south Wales act as major features to the overall design. it is clear that all elements – integrative design, quality finishes and clever landscaping – have been deliberately utilised to create a harmonious flow in the outdoor area.
