This sleek lap pool created by Compass Pools VIC boasts chic simplicity and ties in neatly with its surrounds. The homeowners of this inner-city Brunswick residence wanted their new pool to boast a natural appeal to complement the tranquil landscaping, and for it to be ideal for exercise.
Compass Pools VIC took this brief on board to create what can be seen here as a very successful achievement. During construction, the team had to adhere to strict time constraints, as there was a block of apartments about to be built next door at the time, which was the company’s only access point to the homeowners’ backyard.
However this didn’t affect their ability to deliver an outstanding result, on time. The pool was created in a way that makes it very easy to clean and maintain. It has been fitted with a PCC-2000 Vantage in-floor cleaning system that not only cleans the pool, but assists with heat circulation. The in-floor cleaning system also helps to reduce evaporation, and therefore enhances the energy efficiency of this ceramic, composite fibreglass pool. A Sunbather solar heating system and an EVOHEAT pump were installed to keep the pool temperature at a perfect 28 degrees for exercise at any hour.
The 12.3m x 2.8m pool was also fitted with a Lincoln chlorinator, a Baker hydro pump and a Zelbrite sand filter, adding value to the project.
Aside from the high-tech products that have been installed, this pool’s main feature is its unique colour, reflected off the Bi-luminite interior in Emerald. The colour of the pool is enhanced with the Spa Electrics LED lights that Compass Pools VIC installed not only to create visual appeal, but to ensure the pool would seamlessly blend in with its natural, green surrounds day and night.
