The owners of this Diamond Creek property approached Distinctive Pools and Spas wanting a family-oriented pool that would look good and function well within their outdoor space. Distinctive Pools and Spas’ Joel Fletcher worked in conjunction with the clients to achieve this enviable family retreat.
Distinctive Pools and Spas overcame the challenge of working on a steep 45-degree slope to maximise the available space. Locating the pool in a far corner of the block has allowed for a larger alfresco entertaining space and has utilised an otherwise unused area.
Marked by its clean, elegant lines, the 8m x 3m concrete pool features a large entry swimout, providing the perfect place for the homeowners’ children to splash and play, while the adults relax on the timber sundeck.
The entire pool, including the raised wall feature, is fully-tiled in bold blue mosaic tiles by Coulson Tiles. The luxurious interior is complemented by drop-face black and light grey granite coping from Pave World, tying in with the granite rocks found throughout the garden.
Distinctive Pools and Spas has been designing and constructing quality swimming pools around Melbourne for more than 25 years. Owner and director, Joel Fletcher, has been with Distinctive Pools and Spas since 1999, bringing forward new and innovative ideas for energy-efficient and designer pools. Joel is regarded highly in the industry for his conceptual design work and power-saving initiatives.
The award-winning company builds about 20 pools annually, using 3D design software to allow customers to view their new pool before work even commences. As well as pools, Distinctive Pools and Spas also designs and constructs landscaping, providing a complete outdoor transformation.
