“High on the client’s wishlist was a modern swimming pool, landscape, and outdoor entertaining area to complement the existing dwelling. [To achieve this], we made sure the new components blended seamlessly with the house.

“Slightly raised above pool height, the glass Bisazza-tiled spa was built with four negative edges, which allow the water to spill over the entire structure and subtly cascade down [its sides]. The LED lighting under the [adjacent] floating concrete slab highlights the different design elements in the area, while the Spa Electrics WN9 LED niche lights enhance the length of the pool. Lighting up the entire length of the backyard, [the pool is] a spectacular sight at night.”

“One of the difficulties we experienced was the proximity of the pool to the neighbouring building. More than 90 side-by-side protection piers were [installed] down the entire length of the pool to ensure stability throughout the building process and beyond.”
