In mid-July, Hayward Australia packed its bags and headed north with some of its top customers for the annual THD trip – a chance to celebrate a fantastic 2024 and say thank you for the continued support that drives the company forward. 

This year’s adventure took the team to Darwin, Northern Territory, where the outback meets the tropics. The highlight for many was the Jumping Croc river cruise – a once-in-a-lifetime encounter with Australia’s most famous (and fearsome) residents. The team also cooled off in the waterfalls of Litchfield National Park, a truly iconic Top End experience.  

Of course, it wasn’t all adrenaline. A business session at the Hilton Darwin provided an opportunity to share Hayward’s future plans, from exciting new products in the pipeline to the trends shaping the pool industry. Evenings were all about soaking in Darwin’s laid-back beauty, and the gala dinner at Pee Wee’s at the Point was unforgettable. With incredible food, sweeping views of the harbour, and one of those fiery Top End sunsets, it was the perfect way to wrap up the trip. 

The THD getaway once again proved to be more than just a thank-you – it  was a reminder of the great people, strong partnerships, and shared moments that make Hayward’s journey so rewarding.
