After 18 months of contemplation, it is with great delight that as of the first of September 2021 the Swimming Pool and Spa Association of Victoria (SPASAVIC) officially became Master Pool Builders Association Australia (MPBAA), allowing the conglomerate to continue its evolutionary journey as one of the most reputable governing boards in Australia. This is not the first time since the organisation’s establishment in 1961 that the association has rebranded itself, from its humble beginnings as the SPAV to CASPA, SPASA, and more recently SPASAVIC. MPBAA is delighted to continue the exceptional service SPASAVIC has become renowned for. The group was founded by dedicated individuals of the pool industry who consistently strive to maintain high industry standards and principles of best practice by acting as a reputable, impartial governing body – granting consumers peace of mind when selecting a pool builder. Despite the change in name, MPBAA’s ethos remains the same as it continues to support pool builders and companies of the highest levels of professionalism, morals, craftmanship and customer service; so homeowners can rest assured that those marked by the MPBAA are those marked by integrity.
