Designed to blend into the surrounding bushland, this pool and spa combination provides functionality with architectural integrity. The pool was expertly constructed by Peninsula Pool Contractors’ director Chris Pettigrew and his team, who drew upon their wealth of experience to ensure the perfect result was achieved.

The 16m-long pool varies in width; its 8m shallow end flows through the 4.3m centre, into the spacious 7m circular end. Constructed on a slope, the raised end of the pool provides a seamless outlook of the rural landscape beyond.

Built to accommodate the homeowners’ three young children, the shallow end has a 300mm-deep wading area. The pool’s vibrant rendered interior showcases variegated glass mosaics around the waterline. Pulling focus in the space, the integrated raised spa features matte penny-shaped tiles in black.

To further enhance the natural appeal of the space, Peninsula Pool Contractors expertly installed a beautiful rammed-earth wall around an existing tree. The raised deck area houses an underground plant room, as well as a range of high-quality pool equipment from Hayward Pool Products (Australia) Pty Ltd, including two 900mm filters, multiple TriStar variable-speed pumps, and an OmniLogic automation system.
