This lush courtyard by Acacia Landscaping and Design is beautiful and unique in every way and is seamlessly at one with the house. The clients loved the elements of the garden presented in the architect’s original renders, which Acacia Landscaping and Design were happy to incorporate while adding points of interest and plants suited to the colder climate of Ballarat.

Castlemaine Slate Crazy Paving was used throughout the house which extends throughout the courtyard, keeping the interior and exterior cohesive. This Castlemaine Slate can be seen in the steppers leading through the garden, and in the pavers used to create the turntable that allows the clients to manoeuvre their vehicles with ease. Natural elements such as spotted gum, Castlemaine rock, mass planting and ground covers combine with other features such as outdoor lighting, a floating bench seat and steel planter boxes to enhance the garden’s beauty and truly embrace you in nature.
