Aqua Dreamz Project 1

Aqua Dreamz designed and constructed this pool in careful consideration of the quite compact outdoor space. To maximise the areas potential, the pool was designed in discussion with the clients, as well as the house builder Blu Seven.

The clients wanted a self-sufficient pool they could enjoy year-round. To meet these requirements, Aqua Dreamz installed a Pentair MasterTemp gas heater for the cooler months. The pool also features a QuikClean in-floor cleaning and auto-refill systems for easy maintenance.

The inclusion of a mineral MagnaPool sanitation system allows the clients’ family to enjoy clean and gentle saltfree water. To maximise the available space, all pumps and filters were installed under a hatch in the adjacent entertaining area.

The custom-made water feature extends the length of the pool for great visual appeal. Fitted with a colour-changing LED strip, its beauty can be enjoyed at any time. Tiles from Coulson Tiles cover the interior of the pool and add a striking blue hue to the water. The sawn bluestone paving is cohesive with elements within the home for a harmonising effect. The existing boundary piers were used to support the pool’s submerged bench, which allowed the pool to be built directly on the home’s boundary. The bench also encourages the illusion of increased width.
