Cheviot Pools Project 1

Encircled by a coastal environment, this pool was tailored to blend into its surroundings. Designed and constructed by Cheviot Pools, the space acts as a private, unobtrusive seaside retreat for the clients.

The decking was constructed from recycled merbau timber, which echoes the natural aesthetic of the house. The pool is positioned directly beside the recycled timber fence to maximise its potential size. Bluestone pavers are featured both in the pool area and in the home to create cohesion between the two areas.

Built on a heavily undulating block, the pool required large footing beams to elevate it. The use of black quartz render on its interior achieves a sleek and modern look. LED mood lighting was installed to ensure the pool can be enjoyed at any time of the day or night.
