Element Group Project 1
Vibrant And Versatile
Element Group collaborated with Anthony Scott Design to create this truly delightful outdoor entertaining space, applying a unique design and attention to detail to achieve a luxuriously inviting aesthetic.
A beautiful deck and pergola have been effortlessly integrated to the back of this heritage-style home. Perfect proportioning allows for a narrower section of the verandah in front of the French double-doors, which steps down to the main backyard space, while the other half of the deck is spacious enough for a comfortable lounge area. This space can easily be converted from lounge to alfresco dining, functionally serving the homeowners’ changing needs. The soft-coloured timber complements the house’s white exterior to give this classic design a contemporary edge.
Fresh lawn awaits at the bottom of the right-angled steps, embedded with Aniston pavers that lead to a semi-secluded seating area, illuminated by garden lights. The painted brick wall covered in sprawling ivy forms a blissful backdrop, accompanied by a young maple, which will produce beautiful colours year-round.
Frameless glass fencing between the deck and pool gives a greater illusion of space, so that every aspect can be visually appreciated from all areas. A statement making arbor constructed from steel and timber infill steals the show, arching over a long bench seat where swimmers can retreat after pool time. Martin Kellock pots are dotted around the backyard for additional touches of greenery.
