Kiama Pools & Landscapes Project 5

Kiama Pools & Landscapes created its latest beautiful outdoor space in collaboration with designer, Mark Browning. With a breathtaking swimming pool and spa, and extensive landscaping at the front, rear and side of the property, this functional and sustainable backyard has been designed to add grandeur to an already beautiful contemporary home.

The client’s brief was for a marriage between functionality and aesthetics, and to assist with their busy lifestyle, the swimming pool and spa requires minimal upkeep thanks to in-floor cleaning and full automation. Overall, the outdoor design exists harmoniously with the home, and the is pool carefully positioned to maximise the stunning views of the water from anywhere inside the house.

Positioned at the rear of the property, the spectacular swimming pool, spa and outdoor entertainment area are framed by a stylish and modern granite water feature wall that follows the length of the pool. Thanks to the wall’s varied heights, the water flows beautifully into the pool, creating a tranquil atmosphere fit for a hot spring or spa.

The pool is complemented by a wrap-around timber sundeck and bluestone surrounds. Kiama Pools & Landscapes carefully considered the levels, materials, plant types, colour and position to maximise the pool and garden views, highlighting the stunning stone and brickwork of the home. Extending the stunning manicured design, the team created additional garden beds viewable from each window so that every living area could enjoy a stunning garden outlook.

The alfresco area provides a complete outdoor entertaining space. Featuring quality pavers that look beautiful and are easy to maintain, multi-tiered garden beds and oversized bluestone steppers that lead up to the front door, this outdoor space was constructed to enhance the elevation of the home. This design is completed by sustainably conscious features; such as a variable speed pump, solar heating and irrigation throughout the garden.
