Featuring a striking negative edge, this project by Lifestyle Pools & Spas expertly intertwines form and function. The owners were primarily concerned with creating a family-friendly space that could also be used for entertaining. The above-ground pool sits level with the house, connected by a sprawling natural timber deck.

Designed by Gerard Butterss Landscape Design and Construction, and built by the expert team at Lifestyle Pools & Spas, the design meets the needs of a growing family. The pool maximises the available space, without compromising on play space for the children.

The family focus of the project did not distract from the overall design. The pool’s square edge contrasts beautifully with the stunning curved spillway, which falls away into the backyard. Additionally, the pebble-filled balance tank and frameless glass fencing integrates the pool into the surrounding landscape. The result is a timeless design that will serve this family for many years to come. The fully tiled concrete pool measures 8m x 4m and is fitted with an AstralPool filter, a Chemigen DIO water management system, a Paramount PV3 in-floor cleaning system, and a combination of gas and solar heating. Spa Electrics LED lights illuminate the water for balmy summer night swims.
