In an age where sustainability and energy efficiency are paramount, pool owners are increasingly seeking innovative solutions to enhance their lifestyles while reducing their environmental footprint. One solution is the Helicol solar pool heating system by Magen eco-Energy.

Collaborating closely with the pool owner, Magen eco-Energy designed a tailored system to suit the pool’s size and usage patterns. Positioned high on a hillside, the pool faced significant heat loss due to exposure to wind and elements, leaving the existing electric heat pump struggling to maintain a comfortable temperature. By introducing the Helicol system, the goal was to achieve an optimal swimming temperature of 28 degrees Celsius and extend the swimming season while minimising energy costs.

The installation included eight HC38 collectors integrated into the existing plumbing, along with a Helicol Amatek DTAC102 wi-fi controller. This controller priortises the solar system over the heat pump when sun conditions are favourable, all easily managed through a mobile app for complete temperature control.
