Neptune Pool’s latest stunning project in Strathmore is further testament to the team’s dedication to excellence. The client’s brief was for a pool that is fit for family and entertaining, ultimately a great showpiece for their new home. Neptune Swimming Pools accommodated this brief by creating a large an indulgent alfresco area and a generously sized pool that overlooks the abundant lawn beyond.

Neptune Pools went above and beyond to achieve its client’s dreams, beginning by building a large sun ledge along one side of the pool. This area is a perfect spot for lounging poolside and soaking up the summer. On the other side, a pergola with twinkling fairy lights sets the perfect backdrop for an evening outdoors. The design, which also incorporates a separate undercover alfresco dining area, is a seamless harmony both outdoor and indoor entertaining.

The pool itself boasts a striking dark blue ceramic tiling in a typical rectangular shape. Directly abutting the rear of the home, the pool utilises its available space to create a big entertaining area that provides year-round fun for all the family. The blue tiles play well with the natural stone and light wood decking, creating an earthy, spa-like atmosphere.

The pool features recessed lighting for night-time swimming, an in-built spa, and a perfect shallow bench within the water to relax on. It sits beside the home’s outdoor entertaining area, and overlooks the view of a beautiful, lush lawn where kids
can play all day long.

The depth of the azure water can be admired from the deck, or in the amazing acrylic viewing window in the home’s basement. With the proximity of the pool to the basement being so close through the incorporation of the viewing window, Neptune Pools ensured that the waterproofing was impenetrable. This resulted in a cool, unconventional view into the depths of the water from inside the home.

Neptune Pools has created a pool and outdoor space that is both breathtaking and functional. Viewable from the home’s bedrooms, the colours of the outdoor area work in harmony the home’s palette, making this pool the perfect finishing touch to the property.
