The homeowners wanted a special outdoor space that made the most of the limited footprint. Neptune Pools worked with the client to design and build a pool that does not compromise the space, allowing ample room for entertaining and playing.

The spaces’ fusion of materials creates a feast for the eyes. Bluestone and Bisazza ‘Delhi’ glass mosaics are paired to make a clever, cool-toned combination, while the dark wood decking and synthetic grass soften the space, adding warmth and texture. The raised infinity edge doubles as a fully-functioning pool fence, while the gate is cleverly concealed behind the bluestone feature wall, which flows seamlessly from the decking.

Subtle shadow lines, created by the bluestone feature wall, amplify the stillness and serenity of this outdoor retreat. Adding to the majesty and feasibility of this sanctuary is the inclusion of a fire pit. This installation is balanced with the strategically placed lights from the pools’ balance tank, creating a dramatic and warm atmosphere. When switched on, the fire pit creates an eye-catching effect and bolsters the year-round entertaining and enjoyment potential of the space.

Integrating the existing lush landscaping into the overall design, the verdant greenery adds dimension to the space, softening the bold style of the pool and entertaining area. The inclusion of synthetic grass balances the clean lines and sharp geometry, while showcasing the fine craftsmanship of Neptune Pools.

The addition of a heat pump and solar electricity panels create an eco-friendly means of heating the pool. Paired with the variable speed pump, these inclusions strengthen the economic sensibility of this space without compromising the overall aesthetic. The installation of an in-floor cleaning system, easily operated with a smartphone, reduces maintenance time. This contemporary add-on allows homeowners to kick back, relax, and clean the pool from the comfort of the lounging area with a swipe of a touchscreen.
