This stunning pool and spa combo was custom designed by the talented team at Personal Pools to seamlessly tie in with the client’s beautiful home and surrounding views. The full geometric design perfectly complements the existing home’s structure as well as the angle of the landscape, taking full advantage of the views of Port Phillip Bay. With the goal of creating a central feature in the front yard, Chris applied his expert knowledge of design to produce an eye-catching outdoor oasis.

The initial brief for a standard pool within the backyard was ultimately transformed into a design of expert innovation. After consulting with the client and seeing the space and the house plans, Chris produced this exceptional negative-edge pool and spa design within the client’s front yard to not only better utilise the land’s space and shape, but also capitalise on the bay views. The result is an idyllic outdoor retreat, perfect for whiling away an afternoon on the relaxed lounge-chair style seating in the spa.

To execute this breathtaking design, Personal Pools worked closely with all involved to create a design that perfectly suited the family’s needs and the property specifications. Chris and his team built the pool directly against the home, allowing for maximum space usage. By constructing the pool in the front yard, it also means the client retains full use of their backyard space. To work with the challenging angle of the land, limited access and proximity to the new home, the Personal Pools team paid close attention to detail and took the time to ensure this impressive addition was perfected.

Beautiful turquoise ceramic mosaic tiles were used for both the pool and spa interiors, gorgeously capturing the summer sunshine, while Spa Electric lights were installed to illuminate the space for night-time dips. An Insnrg gas heater means the water is comfortable all year round, and the Pentair automation controller gives the clients convenient control of pumping, heating, sanitising and other features.
