Stepping down from the back verandah into the backyard, the eye is instantly drawn to the sizeable pool, spanning 9.5m lengthways and 4m wide. Wanting the outdoor space to blend with the nearby scenery, the homeowners requested a natural look but a formal-shaped swimming pool, and Poolscene Solutions delivered. Bluestone pavers and square-edged coping forge a clean, rectangular frame for the fully-tiled pool and in-built spa.

Solar heating from Supreme Heating keeps the temperature up in the swimming months, and with the Heatseeker Genesis Gas Heater the spa can be enjoyed year-round. The combination of clear glass and simple metal fencing allows for plenty of visual access to the natural surrounding environment, ticking another box for the homeowners. As a finishing touch, Shane Gardner from Victorian Landscape Group incorporated fresh green ferns and neutral coloured stones to harmonise with the stunning bushscape.
