This modern, concrete pool by Showpiece Pools has an instant striking appeal which is seamlessly integrated with the newly built home. The owners of this extravagant pool helped in the design process and their highest priority was to have a place for family fun.

The design brief was for a statement pool to be the focal point of the outdoor area. This resulted in a pool measuring 9m x 4.5m with a 4.5m x 1m beach area, further complemented by a 15m stone feature wall alongside the pool. A 2.5 metre section of wall houses the 1.5 metre stainless steel, sheer descent water feature.

The design includes a central water depth for end-to-end games, and a large beach area ideal for relaxing with a bubbling air grid installed in the floor of the seat. The frameless glass fence and Spa Electrics LED lighting work to further enhance the pool as a focal point. The pool and surrounding area combine quality materials and a complementary colour scheme to ensure the space is an extension of the décor chosen for the internal areas of the home.

This solar heated pool was installed with a large underground concrete water tank prior to excavation, which was fitted with a water leveller utilising the tank water for topping up the pool.
