Showpiece Pools is a young, progressive company with a desire to produce quality modern swimming pools with a ‘wow’ factor. The featured pool illustrates this perfectly, showcasing a unique modern look.
The owners of the property approached Showpiece Pools and requested that the pool be the focal point of the landscaping, and be visible from the home’s internal living areas.
Showpiece Pools excelled with the design, as upon entry into the home, the pool is noticeable from the front door all the way through to the rear entertainment area. All of the materials chosen also complement the décor within this newly built home – strong striking colour and tones keep the feel of the home and backyard consistent.
Complete privacy is ensured through the use of the surrounding rendered walls, while the tiled water feature, extravagant wall art and the raised area along the side of the pool create a spectacular backdrop.
The 10m x 3m pool with an offset 3m x 1.5m entry area is fully tiled, and has been installed with a Viron P300 Pump and Hurlcon RX 400 Sand Filter to keep it clean. It is kept warm in winter with the Sunbather Flat Loop Solar System and three Spa Electrics LED niche lights illuminate the pool at night.

Showpiece Pools are registered building practitioners undertaking 25–30 projects per year in the Melbourne metro and Bayside areas, as well as the Mornington Peninsula. All projects are fully supervised by company founder and owner, Moreno Staffieri.
