Perched atop of a hill nestled amongst the rolling green valleys of the Mornington Peninsula, it was paramount that this design perfectly complemented the surrounds and did not detract from the gorgeous vistas.

Selecting the correct stone cladding was of utmost importance and careful consideration was given to each of Splendour in Stone’s array of claddings to ensure the correct material was utilised and that it would blend well with the surrounds’ colour palette. The ‘Jamieson’ cladding turned out to be the perfect selection for this rural property’s walls. Warm, earthy tones contrast with cool blue hues, matching both the timber and metal used throughout the home as well as the natural scenery.

Creating cohesion throughout the project, ‘Jamieson’ appears throughout the home and across the barn, tying the property’s overall aesthetic together. This stone cladding is utilised on an external wall, and is visible in the main kitchen, living and dining area within the home. A fireplace has been cleverly incorporated into the structure, adding to the visual appeal.

The barn has been entirely furnished in the ‘Jamieson’ stone cladding, seamlessly connecting the two areas of the home. This stone is very durable and weathers well, in a way that adds to its authentic, rustic look. It also is an excellent means of sound insulation, reducing any noise pollution that may otherwise creep into your home.
