In this large-scale project for the Deep Blue Hotel & Hot Springs Warrnambool, The Pool Place constructed a range of customised hot spring rock pools, paying special attention to extra additions such as intricate water features, beautiful rock structures and lush landscaping.

Designed by Marshal at Rock N Water Landscapes and built to promote rest and tranquility, the team built geothermal pools for therapeutic use and relaxation pools for quiet contemplation. Several water features were installed with water streaming over rock walls and effortlessly flowing between 15 thoughtfully designed bathing pools. Each pool sports different features – some pools have built-in seats that are perfect for lounging, while others are ideal for a peaceful walk through calm water to admire the trickling water features and beautiful surrounds.

The pools are filled using bore water from 850 metres below ground to harness the natural geothermal waters. With awe-inspiring pools reading a core temperature of up to 44 degrees coupled with the indulgent ambience, The Pool Place have created the ultimate serene hot springs experience. The unique designs of the pools were collated by Marshal at Rock N Water Landscapes, Gene and Rebecca, the owners of Deep Blue Hotel & Hot Springs Warrnambool, alongside The Pool Place’s owner, Harry Modric. The team successfully collaborated, tailoring each bespoke pool to be enjoyed by a multitude of people and cater to differing relaxation needs.
