For this project, the homeowners approached Striking Pools to build a pool within the limited space of their backyard. Displaying its expertise in bespoke designs, the company constructed a 2.8m x 7m pool in the narrow space between the home and the boundary fence, which is perfect for both exercise and relaxation.
Striking Pools worked closely with the home’s architect Andrew Ramage to ensure the home could be constructed atop the pool’s shell for seamless visual appeal.
Surrounded by French-pattern travertine coping and paving, the pool features a black ceramic-tiled interior that perfectly complements the home’s modern styling. Fitted with solar heating, the pool is highly energy efficient, and features three multicoloured LED lights so it’s beauty can be enjoyed from the lounge room and alfresco area at night.
Established by Simon Buchanan and Luke Sheahan, Striking Pools was created as a combination of its two sister companies, Landart Landscapes and Striking Constructions.
Specialising in custom concrete pools and bespoke landscape designs, Striking Pools only uses the highest quality tradespeople, products and finishes to ensure a long-lasting result.
Taking great pride in each project it completes, Striking Pools constructs 15–20 pools each year throughout Melbourne, and the Mornington and Bellarine Peninsulas.
