Based on the Mornington Peninsula, Peninsula Pool Contractors specialises in the design and construction of high-quality residential and commercial pools. To achieve the stunning result pictured here, Peninsula Pool Contractors worked closely with local Mount Eliza landscape architect Michael La Fontaine, of Linton La Fontaine Garden Architecture.

As the focal point of the garden, the pool boasts a timeless, understated style, with clean lines and quality finishes. The vivid fully-tiled interior is complemented by French grey-coloured polished concrete surrounds, which highlight the pool’s streamlined design.

La Fontaine’s plant selection, including established trees, creates privacy and roots the new outdoor space within its surrounds.

The pool is equipped with a salt chlorinator and a Waterco sand filter. A Pentair MasterTemp gas heater allows the pool to be enjoyed even in the colder months, while Spa Electrics underwater LED lighting allows the pool to be enjoyed after dark.

A large day bed provides the perfect place for lounging by the pool under the shade of the classic white timber arbours that surround the pool. The arbours are complemented by white timber privacy screens.

A combination of vertical timber posts and frameless glass was used to fence the pool, with the glass allowing views of the pool and surrounds to be enjoyed from within the home.
