The stunning pool and spa featured here, is an example of the company’s personalised design and service, as the pool was designed in conjunction with the homeowners. The innovative design is not only highly functional, but also complements the Italian/Mediterranean aesthetic of the house, outer buildings and landscape of the property.

A sizeable water feature was fixed onto an existing garage wall. Bayside Pools & Paving installed and prepared the operation of all plumbing and fittings through the brickwork, before completing the look with travertine marble to complement the pool and spa.

To further enhance the Italian/Mediterranean theme, a large swim-out area has been designed at the opposite end of the pool to the spa, creating a stunning mirror image of the spa and water feature.

Although the pool is of a generous size, it was dug with appropriate machinery in a small area, ensuring existing buildings weren’t disturbed. The purpose-built pool equipment room was designed to be positioned under the stairs of an existing structure in an extremely confined area, making the housing of pool equipment a challenge.

In order to access the proposed pool equipment site, core drilling of approximately 20 holes through brickwork was required. Bayside Pools & Paving then installed the required pool equipment into this small area by mounting some of the equipment onto the walls.

The pool and spa are tiled with Coulson tiles, with the Mediterranean theme effortlessly continued with travertine stone as a prominent feature for the coping and surrounding paving. To enhance the luxurious appearance of the pool and spa in the evenings, two Spa Electrics multi-coloured LED lights have also been installed.
