Easy, relaxed living was the goal of this delightful family pool by Melbourne-based Bayside Pools & Paving. Designed to offer a seamless flow between the indoor living spaces and the pool area, the result is welcoming, accessible and most importantly, adored by the owners.

The fully-tiled 10m x 3m concrete pool is classic in style, with elegant contemporary touches such as bluestone paving and timber decking. A clear frameless glass fence was chosen, providing maximum safety and also ensuring the garden, entertaining space and pool all feel like one area.

Discreetly placed garden lighting makes it a delight to look out to the pool in the evening, while solar heating extends its use into the cooler months.

The sophisticated design is the result of a close collaboration between the owners and Bayside Pools & Paving. A very uneven site proved to be a challenge for the team, with the solution seeing one end of the pool built out of the ground, sitting on strip footings.
