Illuminated Balustrades Project 1
Industry leaders are excited about the many opportunities and applications Illuminated Balustrade Australia is primed to offer for both the residential and commercial markets.
Illuminated Balustrade Australia’s founder and CEO Mark Behnecke successfully created a patented-design spigot and lighting system that is set to revolutionise the balustrade market. Using a combination of highest grade 2205 stainless steel to create a new patented spigot design; in conjunction with superior LED lighting and specialty glass, this balustrade option is nothing short of spectacular.
Available in a stylish square design, the surface-mounted spigots come in both matte black and polished stainless steel. The 12V low-voltage light kit comes with sixteen specifically designed 6-watt LED plug and play lights (perfect for outdoor use), 25 metres of cable with T-junctions every 1500mm and 16 extension cables. The extension cables make changing globes a breeze. Included in the kit is an RGB controller that gives the client sixteen different colour settings and various modes to choose from. Spare LED lights and RGB controllers are also available should a globe blow or if a controller is misplaced. The patented-design spigot enables an LED light to be changed should the need arise without removing the spigot or lifting decking boards to access under-deck or ground cabling. With your choice of either a soft or colourful glow of light, depending on your mood, the lighting system gives you endless choices.
In an industry where spigots can be sold and supplied without testing and certification, it was essential that Illuminated Balustrade Australia’s spigots were tested and certified prior to being launched.
So, with safety the company’s number-one priority at the design stage, it was always going to be a challenge to create a spigot that ticked all the boxes. The patented-design spigot had to pass all NATA certification testing and be aesthetically pleasing at the same time, and the company managed to achieve both. Illuminated Balustrade Australia ensures all its spigots have NATA certification. Not only did it pass all requirements, but by illuminating the glass balustrade, not only did the company create a breath-taking feature, but it also made glass panels easier to see at night, adding an additional safety feature to the system.
With significant interest already coming in from overseas and a new core drill version coming soon, Illuminated Balustrade Australia is also seeking local and interstate distribution outlets within Australia.
