Neptune Swimming Pools
A timeless addition to the family home, this project by Neptune Swimming Pools has some serious ‘wow’ factor. The stunning granite-clad infinity wall creates a prominent feature and also serves as the pool barrier, maximising the split-level block and promoting a sense of openness within the backyard.
The pool and surrounding landscape were designed by Neptune Swimming Pools using the company’s design-concept development service. This service includes meeting with clients to establish a brief, presenting a conceptual 3D video, and developing a full set of CAD working drawings. The service allows clients to visualise the finished project and make any changes before construction has even begun, making the process much smoother.
The deck and the pool were constructed simultaneously, seamlessly joining onto the existing patio. Neptune Swimming Pools further integrated the new pool area with the existing space with a complementary colour palette and lush greenery. Designed with family fun and relaxation in mind, the finished product is a natural extension of the home.
The landscaping for this project was expertly designed by Neptune Swimming Pools and completed by Liquid Landscaping. The bamboo planted along the boundary fence will become a ‘green screen’ as it grows, providing privacy and enhancing the tranquillity of the space. The gentle flow of the water over the infinity edge also promotes a serene ambiance, while natural stone accents add to the organic aesthetic.
The split-level block posed a unique challenge to the professional team at Neptune Swimming Pools. Consideration of the property’s natural landscape ultimately contributed to the success of the overall design.
The 9m x 4m pool and 2m2 spa were constructed using reinforced concrete and fully tiled with Ceramic Solutions tiles. Powder-blue was used for the pool, while a contrasting charcoal mosaic was used for the spa. Every detail of this project exudes luxury, and the fittings are no exception. The pool includes an AstralPool sand filter and variable-speed pump, as well as a Viron eQuilibrium saltwater management system with chlorine and pH control, Sunlover solar heating, and an AstralPool HiNRG heater.
