With limited space in their courtyard, the homeowners of this property in Camberwell wanted a modern, stylish pool that did not need to be enclosed with fencing. By constructing this stunning project out of the ground, Salt Pools has created a stand-out design that holds its own within the small space.

The 5m x 3.9m concrete pool is fully tiled with a bluestone wet-edge deck. In keeping with the home’s contemporary feel, bluestone has also been utilised for the pool’s coping and paving, which ties-in seamlessly with its surrounds.

All of the pool’s equipment is set with timers, which means it only runs when needed. A Paramount in-floor cleaning system and sand filter ensures the pool is useable throughout the seasons, while energy-efficient solar heating warms the water during sunny weather. To complete the look, two Spa Electrics LED lights illuminate the structure to create a truly beautiful and inviting pool.

Salt Pools is owned and operated by Richard Workman. A licensed builder of swimming pools with the Victorian Building Authority (VBA) and a member of the Swimming Pool and Spa Association of Victoria (SPASA VIC), Workman has 25 years of industry experience.

Salt Pools works predominately in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, but also travels throughout Victoria, building approximately 20–40 pools annually.
