This pool is a stellar example of how clever design can maximise a small backyard. Working within a compact space, facing easement restrictions and limited access, Salt Pools had to get creative. By using small machinery, the talented team overcame these challenges to deliver a stunning pool and entertainment area.

The homeowners were thrilled with their low-maintenance swimming pool. By incorporating in-floor cleaning and equipment with programmable timers to run at off-peak times, Salt Pools reduced the maintenance required to virtually zero.

The use of unobtrusive semi-frameless glass fencing allows the pool to shine. Lined with Coulson Tiles’ new range of slimline tiles and surrounded by chic decking and bluestone paving, this pool transforms the backyard into a stylish entertainment precinct. Salt Pools’ open communication ensured its vision aligned with that of the homeowners. The result is a highly functional and beautiful space the entire family will enjoy for years to come.

Salt Pools is owned and operated by Richard Workman. A licensed builder of swimming pools with the Victorian Building Authority (VBA) and a member of the Swimming Pool and Spa Association of Victoria (SPASA VIC), Richard has 25 years of industry experience.

The company specialises in concrete in-ground swimming pools, including plunge pools, infinity edge pools, and spas. Offering clients the complete package, Salt Pools will coordinate the project through all stages, from design concepts to pool construction and landscaping.

Salt Pools works predominately in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, but also travels throughout Victoria building approximately 20–30 pools annually.
