This custom-designed elevated pool project by Albatross Pools looks right at home with the native gum trees. The pool was thoughtfully crafted to complement the impending home renovation and comes complete with every enhancement possible for a sports-focussed family.
Timber decking was chosen, to tie in with the natural surrounds and the finishes that will feature in the home renovation. The large upside-down L-beams are a striking addition to the area, and Albatross Pools have flawlessly integrated the rustic aesthetic without compromising on modern appeal.
Significant engineering was undertaken by Albatross Pools to tailor the pool’s structure to suit the dramatic fall of the property. An in-floor Paramount cleaning system satisfies the clients’ low maintenance requirement. The pool was also fitted with a sand filter with variable-speed pump, an ionic freshwater system with an in-line chlorine feeder and a 21kW heat pump. Featuring Spa Electrics lighting and a recessed pool cover cleverly hidden in the deck, the space is as practical as it is serene.
With more than 15,000 satisfied clients, Albatross Pools has become one of Melbourne’s most respected pool builders since it opened in 1969. It’s one of the oldest pool building companies in Australia, and will celebrate its milestone 50th anniversary in 2019.
