Albatross Pools Project 13
For this project, Albatross Pools created a customisable entertainment, relaxation and child-friendly space that perfectly fulfils the brief that the clients provided. The clients wanted a simple design that they could enhance with their own personal elements to turn it into a private oasis. Acting as the focal point of the home, the pool can be seen from almost every room. Built on a relatively flat block, a small deck made of bluestone and timber resides over the pool like a pier.
The outdoor space includes water features designed by the clients that feature colourful plants and grey stones. These were built and installed by Water Features Direct and add movement and colour to the pool. Grass surrounds the existing landscaping to contrast beautifully with the hard surfaces. A vertical garden chosen by the client and designed by Perry Landscapes mirrors the colours that were selected for the water feature plants, and creates unity in the area.
With more than 15,000 happy clients, Albatross Pools has become one of the most respected pool builders since it commenced in 1969. It is one of the oldest pool building companies in Australia, and to this day is owned and operated by the Van Der Haar family. Albatross Pools specialises in pre-engineered steel swimming pools that are factory-built to the client’s specifications and assembled on site. This allows for rapid installation, which can often be achieved in days, yet still maintains a great level of flexibility. With the experience and expertise to deliver a pool that will exceed your expectations at a cost-effective price, Albatross Pools’ pools can be custom-built to almost any shape, size or depth.
The team sees no limits in producing an innovative swimming pool to suit a particular design or challenging building site. Albatross Pools operates state-wide, and has won numerous Swimming Pool and Spa Association (SPASA) awards year after year for its innovation.
