The spectacular design features of the pool featured are more than what first meets the eye. The innovative design sees the L-shaped pool tightly hug the home, and actually enter the internal living areas. From within the home, the pool is visible below a glass floor, blurring the boundaries between indoor and outdoor. Forming an integral feature of the home, the stunning pre-engineered vinyl lined pool was designed through collaboration between Albatross Pools and the homeowner. The homeowner requested a pool that had aesthetic appeal, yet was functional and low maintenance. This was achieved through the utilisation of an in-floor cleaning system and salt chlorination.

Space was maximised as the wall of the pool supports the home, which left space for outdoor lounging and entertaining at each end of the pool. A timber ledge runs the length of the pool, which is perfect for people to sit alongside the pool and relax, or allows easy access to different areas of the outdoor area. The fresh and inviting pool appears a stunning light blue, which is perfectly finished off with waterline tiling.

Solar heating and a designated water tank help make the pool water wise and a Hurlcon sand filter and salt chlorinator ensure it is easily maintained. A Hurlcon gas heater keeps it a friendly temperature for swimmers while Poolrite underwater lighting means it can be used day or night.
